Each year, students from all over the country come to Giordano Dance School to participate in our
Scholarship Program. You must have graduated high school to be eligible for this program. These auditioned dancers take a number of required classes in Giordano Jazz Technique, ballet, modern, tap, hip hop, modern, lyrical, as well as additional fitness classes. Students progress is rated throughout the semester by faculty and the scholarship directors.
Year long Scholarship students participate in the end of the year choreography showcase Giordano on Giordano. They learn a number of pieces choreographed by Giordano faculty and Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago company members.
This program is designed to provide professional students with the artistic technical training needed for today’s dance world. Fury Gold serves as the Scholarship coordinator.
