GIORDANO 3
Giordano 3 is a pre professional performing company comprised of Giordano Dance School Merit Scholarship students, who come from all over the nation and beyond. The School awards over 75 scholarships a year based on dance ability and potential. Auditions for this opportunity are held annually in Chicago as well as at JDWC. These young aspiring professionals ages ranging from 19 - 25 take train intensively in Giordano Jazz Technique, Ballet, Modern, Lyrical, Tap and MoPed®.
Dancers receive mid-year evaluations and access to the Directors as ongoing mentors. The mission of the Merit/G3 program and company is to cultivate each dancer individually. We focus on growth in technique and performance as well as building the professional persona of each dancer.
The company works with Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago company members and Giordano Dance School Faculty on choreography and perform throughout the Chicagoland area at venues like Dance Chicago, community centers, local schools, and the end of the year choreography showcase
Giordano on Giordano. Occasionally, Giordano II members guest perform with the the company. Giordano 3 is led by GJDC company member
